SLOW ART FRIDAYS
Every THIRD Friday of the month, join the Arts

District of Honolulu for a slower paced alternative to First Friday.

Where:  Downtown Honolulu (Chinatown)
When:  Friday, January 21st, 5 to 7 pm & beyond.
  
THE SLOW ART FAIR -- 6–8pm, FREE
Between Hawaii Theater and Marks Garage on Pauahi Street between Bethel and Nuuanu.

Organic food & wine, from Brasserie du Vin; vintage recipes from Soul de Cuba, scrumptious local desserts from Otto Cake. Micro-brewed beers from Marks. Slow Food of Kapiolani Community College’s handmade fro-yo (frozen yogurt) and citrus aid. Park your bike with the extraordinary Bike Valet. Relax at our 35-foot table in the middle of the street, with canvas tablecloths & candlelight.

Local Do-It-Yourself and vintage flea-market from Rock Shop, Shop & Bop, and Art & Flea.

Live acoustic music across from Hawaii Theatre between Bethel and Nuuanu.

DJs every Friday Night @ Bar 35 -- 9:00pm - 2:00am. DJs Fhombus and Audissey play Hip hop and reggae, rock, 80s and groove.

:: BRASSERIE DU VIN ::
Hops and Grinds Geer Dinner Series -- 6:00pm. NEW! A monthly dinner offered the third Friday of each month featuring unique pairings of artisan and craft beers and a multi-course course food menu. Themes will change monthly and dinners are hosted by beer aficionado Andy Baker. $50 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Reception starts at 6:00 pm. Limited seating and reservations required.

Count Dracula was a European nobleman and a gentleman, an enigmatic character who possessed a certain charm, wit and masculinity that made him completely irresistible. The Dark Lord will be crowned Count Dracula Hawaii 2011. Prizes for the winner, first runner-up and Most Debonair.
